Installation & Activation
PlayCourse ships as two plugins: the free core plugin (everything you need to build and run courses) and PlayCourse Pro (teams, certificates, gamification, payouts and more). Install the core first, then add Pro and activate your license.
Install the free core plugin
From your WordPress dashboard
Go to Plugins → Add New, search for PlayCourse LMS, click Install Now, then Activate.
Or upload the .zip
Download the .zip from the downloads page, then go to Plugins → Add New → Upload Plugin and choose the file.
Install & activate Pro
Download PlayCourse Pro from your account downloads, upload it the same way, and activate it. Pro requires the free core plugin to be active.
Connect your domain
In your account, open Licenses & Sites and add your site URL to generate a license key for that domain.
Enter the key
In WordPress, go to PlayCourse → Pro License, paste the key and click Activate.
Automatic updates
While your license is active, both plugins update from within WordPress under Dashboard → Updates — no manual re-uploads needed.
