Is the core plugin really free?
Yes — the core plugin is free forever on WordPress.org. Pro unlocks teams, certificates, gamification, payouts and the rest.
Do I need WooCommerce?
Only to sell. Free academies run without it; activate WooCommerce when you want checkout, coupons and subscriptions.
My license won't activate
- Confirm the domain in your account matches the site exactly (including
www). - Ensure the site is reachable over HTTPS.
- Regenerate the key from Licenses & Sites and re-enter it.
Pro features aren't showing
Check that both the core and Pro plugins are active, and that the license shows a green Active badge under PlayCourse → Pro License.
